Irving & Powell like their denim to be, well just that. They love to see the warp and the weft in the fabric (a fancy way to explain the diagonal lines you see in denim) and not a sign of stretch in site.  

The Franklin Denim Shirt is great shirt on its own for those cooler days, or worn open like a jacket for when things are a little warmer. 

They've used a heavy weight denim, 200 gsm to be precise. For reference their classic cotton-poplin used for the Franklin Cotton Poplin Shirt is 130 gsm.  

Made from 100% cotton denim, Irving & Powell shirts are pre-washed. This extra step means you don’t have to worry about shrinkage. You can iron it—but a wrinkled Franklin looks even better. Wash in cold water and hang to dry. You’re good to go.
